TELL THEM FROM ME SURVEY

In our continuing effort to improve school effectiveness, Nelson High School will be implementing the Tell Them From Me student survey (TTFM) during the third week of December, specifically on December 17, 18 and 19. The Tell Them From Me student surveys are an important way to measure how well Nelson school  is doing according to our students.

Survey Logistics for Semester one:

  • The survey will run on Mon. Dec. 17, Tues. Dec. 18 and Wed. Dec. 19, 2018

  • All grades will complete the survey

    • Grades 9s and 11s during Period 2

    • Grades 10s and 12s during Period 5

  • The survey will be completed in the library where students may use chromebooks, their own electronics, and the computer stations.

Have Your Say Survey Results - https://www.haveyoursayhdsb.ca/SurveyResults

The HDSB and Nelson High School is committed to sharing the outcomes of the survey with you!

During the Spring of 2017 and Winter of 2018, we reached out to you to ask for your participation in a survey designed to provide feedback to the Halton District School Board. The purpose was to gather input on a number of areas identified in our Multi-Year Plan so we can assess how we are doing as an organization and improve our effectiveness. Thank you for your participation.

Four different surveys were administered to different audiences – students, staff, parents/guardians and community members. We promised to inform our stakeholders of what we learned. To do this we have summarized key themes for each survey to share with you now.

To continue tracking progress over time, the surveys will be administered again during the fall and winter of 2019. It is with your continued feedback that we believe we can serve our stakeholders in the best way possible.
