Scholarship opportunities

Each year it is estimated that approximately $15 million in scholarship money goes unclaimed because students do not apply. There are a variety of ways that your student can apply for scholarships and bursaries. At Nelson we have our own scholarships that get awarded at commencement. We encourage all grade 12 students to fill out the following form- Nelson Scholarship Resume. Please make a copy of the document, fill it out and return it to Mr. Ball by March 31. Nelson also pays a yearly subscription to the Scholarship Report. This is a service that researches current scholarships and compiles them in one easy to find spot. The HDSB also maintains a scholarship database that can be found here: HDSB Scholarship
