"I had a terrible case of stage fright - still do, sometimes - until the Nelson Drama teachers pushed me out of my comfort zone. Nelson and these amazing teachers are why I'm a working theatre professional today. Until then, I hadn’t believed I had real talent or that theatre was a viable career path. I’d be nowhere without the skills and confidence I built with the help of teachers and friends in the Nelson Arts & Drama community."
