SPECIAL SCHEDULE: Final Evaluation Review Day: Thursday, June 26th, 2025
This day is an in-person day. Students will be provided the opportunity to review Final 30 work and receive feedback on their evidence of learning. This date will involve a timetable where attendance is taken and students will meet in-person with their teachers for a review period.
This is a shortened day - the schedule for this day is as follows:
Period/Course 1 8:25 - 9:00
Period/Course 2 9:05 - 9:40
Period/Course 4 9:45 - 10:20
Period/Course 5 10:25 - 11:00
**please note that Students in our Community Pathways Program (CPP) will continue with their regular schedule and course programming, and buses will run on their regular schedules.
**Report cards will be emailed home Friday, July 4 at 4:00pm**
Diploma/Transcript pick up:
Diploma package distribution will take place from the Nelson main office the following dates and times:
Friday, July 4 10:00am - 2:00pm
Monday, July 7 10:00am - 2:00pm
*STUDENTS OVER 18 - If you make arrangements for someone else to pick up your diploma package (ie. parent or guardian) we will need an email from you, or a handwritten letter from you, giving them permission.
**This is also a good time for students to return any textbooks and/or school owned materials.
Google Takeout for Students Leaving HDSB:
As of July 12, 2025 students who are not returning for the 2025-2026 school year, including those graduating from the HDSB, will lose access to the HDSB Network & Google Workspace for Education applications, data, and email. Note that this includes both Gmail and Drive.
IMPORTANT: If you have used your HDSB email when applying for post secondary, resume development, job applications, etc. you will need to update your information and change it to a personal email address before access to your HDSB account is lost. Click here for details.
Courtesy Seats:
The Courtesy Seat Application Form is open from April 15 until June 30 for the upcoming school year. Families are required to complete this form annually.
Halton Student Transportation Services (HSTS) will complete the courtesy seat application review and allocation process over the summer in order to allow courtesy riders to begin riding the bus on the first day of school in September. Upon completion of the review, parents or guardians who have submitted an application will be notified by HSTS by the third week in August.

Please note that an 'Extended Absence Form' is required for planned absences of 4 or more days. This form ensures that teachers are aware, and that the dates get entered properly in our attendance system. Students can pick up a form from the main office.
